Server Upgrade/Move Status

Some may or may not know, but last night (11/24/2007) I moved ATM! to a new server, and upgraded most all of the software.

Everything went pretty well -- I had the standard problems, but still pretty smooth all things considered.

The site seems faster now too, which it should be

I am however, not done

I still need to upgrade the photogallery (photopost) and I need to apply a bunch of hacks.

Namely:

Add Motoman393 to the Online Users list
Fix Favorite smilies so they start working again
Fix spacing on the front page (portal).
Fix welcome headers
Fix some ads so they only show for unregistered users (this will be new).

That's all I can think of for the time being, but I'm also really tired....

So if you find something that doesn't work right please post it here.

Macho, try clearing your cookies and cache and see if that helps.

cleared my cookies............didn't work. I deleted my old favorite shortcutt...did a search...boom ATM. Copied and paste new address and that worked..............I don't know what a cache is.

Just tried uploading to the gallery and got this message after the processing image page (or whatever that is)...

Error creating thumbnail! Error code: 127

Command:

Glad to hear it's working well.

Yeah, I control the DNS servers, so they better take no more than 4 hours, but I would bet there are still users that are still getting the old forum closed message on the old server.

Had this error on one of the pages, but image uploaded fine..
