Default Server Downtime/Upgrade

Thanks everyone for your patience while I upgraded the software to the latest version.

I still have a ton to do, but the basic use of the forums should work just fine now.

The portal is in need of some serious help though, so just ignore it (at least the pictures not showing).

Now get to posting!

On second thought, I can't remember if I need to do anything else...

So keep your eyes peeled and let me know if you see anything that's not like it's supposed to be or broken.

Thanks again for all you do for us, Woody.

I think we have been tricked though! Everytime you click on the new "Thanks" button, your bank is drafted $100

Thanks for all your work Woody. I'd offer to help, but well, I'd just end up breaking something.

Thanks everyone. Hopefully I won't have to upgrade for a long time. This major revision stuff is for the birds.

Going from vB 3.6.x to vB 3.7.x

quite a lot changed between the 3.6 and 3.7 version.

Woody,
Looks very user friendly and the Thanks/thanked option is welcome. Will we get the option to have a favorite smilies list again? Thanks.

Bill

Thanks Bill.

Yes, favorite smilies will be back, they just haven't ironed out all the kinks yet to work with the new version of vB (3.7.2) so, until then, we won't have it.

I like the thank you hack too, but I've got to figure out how we can better use it.

The idea behind it is if you have nothing to say, but want to show your gratitude you use it. However, if you want to say something as well as thank the person, you wouldn't use it.
