Default Polls

Just went and searched for "new" threads just like I do everytime I sign on. 7 of 10 new posts were POLLS. Is there anyone besides me that finds this just a little(no Tryce don't say it)?
What's really aggravating is it shows up as a new post when all it is someone voting. maybe it's just me...nevermind.

Nope it's not just you. I find it bothersome as well.

One night a while ago I tried to see if I could fix it (so a vote wouldn't move it to the top, but only a post on the thread would), but came up dry

I feel you pain though, especially when their are a lot of them.

When you start a poll you have the option to allow voting for only a certain # of days. I wonder if it is possible to require a timeout on all polls?
