Dirt Surfer: if you check out my photo Gallery here you will find a few pics of my track.

Huffdaddy: yes.....it is.

Matt: Huffdaddy nailed it. Even if it was a spark plug, you show my ANY auto parts store that carries the one for my bike dude....it aint gonna happen.

Well....the plug didn't make it. Looks like your magic 8 ball is broken zoo.

Wouldn't have mattered anyway, it just starting raining like a cow peeing on a flat rock.

Strange, never heard of those plugs blowing out here in Belgium, We do had a piston-rod problem on the '03 models. Changed mine for a '04!!

The 2003 piston rod couldn't hold the power the 'ol mighty fourfitty threw upon it and snapped, not a nice sight I assure you that!!! I know 4 guys who had this problem and their costs varied between 2000 and 3000$$!!!! I never had problems with mine, but since I was going to ride another season with mine, I changed the piston rod for an '04 model, much much stronger, so Yamaha knew of the problem.

You realize that's over 4,000 laps, right? You're going to be one tired man.

If you would have told me where to buy one like I asked in the last thread, I would have had one by now.

Going to the auotparts store tonight if the plug doesnt come in.

Frakke: I have never heard of that problem stateside, wonder if it was the euro models only? I know the 250f had some issues but never heard of the 450.

I know, when I was still unknown on the board, I posted a thread about it, and no one seem to known about the problem. Same thing with the plug, not an issue on this side of the ocean, strange!!
