Go to craigslist. There are hundreds of used 2 strokes available. Not hard to find at all.

the euros still make 2 strokes , ktm being the pick of them ( in my opinion ) but you couldn't go wrong with a YZ
I think I know why your finding it hard to get a 2 stroke , who in they're right mind sells a 2 STROKE

JMV, I wish it was that way up here.

Not a single cr250, kx250 or rm250 on CL in my area. There is one 09 yz250 on CL though $3600 seems a bit steep for it.

Sorry to hear that. Obviously plenty of selection here in California.

Or if you're feeling froggy, dig that mayonnaise jar out of the back yard and pony up the 15k to import a Maico 700cc.

Kawasaki and Suzuki still make smaller cc bikes and Yamaha still makes 85cc, 125cc,250cc. Got my son a 2015 rm85 for Christmas.
