It's winter, most people aren't riding. Woody sold his bike a while back and isn't around as much as he used to be. Big Maico sold out too, the big sissy There are a few regular posters, and probably a ton of lurkers but this time of year is always slow.

I thought you sold the new hot rod, I knew you kept the old Maicos but I couldn't pass on the chance to razz you.

I was trying to sell them when I broke my back, but when you have over $11,000 invested in one & you only get offers for $4,000 you keep it!

After a year off, you go play ride & leave the youngster alone. they are just to fast to keep up with once you've been hurt like I was.

Don't need any more get offs

Don't want the Wife to have to play Nurse maid any more.

$4k? Heck, even though it's a KTM I would have offered at least $4.5...
I'm not even old, just old-ish and I've already decided that going fast is over-rated and keeping the rubber side down is far more important (which I manage to do most of the time). Buying a new bike is definitely a losing battle, until it gets to be about 6 years old and the value somewhat levels out for a while. Eleanor is probably the last new one I'll ever buy, and I'll probably have her till I'm pushing up daisies.

Yeah,

It's been slow, But it's been Winter, so some don't ride & the economy has been rough for some.

You & I know that it take a bit of $$ to keep the rides in shape & to go ride.

Gas for the ride, Gas to get to the riding area & so forth.

We'll just have to wait a little while to see if it picks up around here.

Better riding weather is just around the corner for most of us.

I've looked into the timbersled set ups for the bikes, I aint interested in paying another $7,000 on top of a $10,000 2017 CRF450

Better than buying a $10,000 CRF450 that gets ridden 5-6 months out of the year and a $14,000 snowmobile that gets ridden 3-4 months a year and depreciates faster than you can imagine. Used kits can be had for around $2k now, plenty of used bikes out there that make great snow bikes too... no need to go new on everything just to stroke your ego.

True, and I know this doesn't apply to us in the PNW, but there are plenty of people in California buying these new CRF's AND buying timbersled set up's for them. But those people are just ludicrous Californians
