The first bike I ever rode was a 1969 Honda Step-Thru 50. My neighbor bought it brand new at the end of 1968 and he let me ride it the day he brough it home. Man, that brings back some cool memories!!

A 1964 Yamaha 250 touring type bike (two stroke) w/ saddle bags and windshield. It was my Uncle Harold's bike. We had to mix the oil/gas. I have loved riding ever since.

My Aunt rode a 1964 Honda 305 Dream. Cool technology for the day.

Schwinn...

I was a late starter... the first bike I ever rode was Daniel's '90 XR600. Kick starting that beast with tennis shoes on was a little rough. However, by the time that bugger lit off, I felt like I had earned the putt around the yard.

a late 70's Honda Elsinor MR-50. Wow, some great memories indeed. My Dad and I modded it out...which was basiclly a kick-but DG race-pipe retro-fitted (bailing-wire) and an over-sized knobby. But it was all bling-bling baby!

Well the first 2 wheel motor bike I rode was a home mini bike made from a bicycle. A Briggs & Stratton engine on a fabed up bike frame.

Ok the first motorcycle was a 1966 Yamaha 80....

1980 honda z50r, my cousin gave it to me and my brother and man that thing was fun. you could hold the shifter down when on the move, rev 'er up and let the shifter up and it would flip you right over backwards. I ended up getting creamed by a dodge and twisting her pretty good but I just got her fixed up for my daughter to ride. Thing is tough as nails

did a couple small laps around a gravel road on a farm in first gear, so i dont know if you consider that a ride, but it was a little suzuki, all i really remember.

i wouldnt consider it a first ride and if you dont, then my first ride would be just over a month ago when test driving what is now my yz125:P i was hooked as soon as i hit the powerband

An early 1970's Honda XL125 my brother owned, you could hot wire it through the head light. When he was at work i would come home from school and ride it untill i hit the side of the house and broke the headlight. So for my trouble i got a fat lip and a black eye from my brother and had to pay for the light with my paper run money

Yamaha Mini Enduro. Got it for my 4th birthday and chased my dad, on his Ossa Capra, around the yard. 39 years later and now my daughter is chasing me. Thanks Dad.

Char,
Let me guess. He said "If you can start it you can ride it". Right? And what did you do? The typical Char weve come to know. You kicked and kicked, turned the gas off, comp release, blew her out and hopefully with no kick back you lit her up. And all Daniel could do, expecting you to give up long before, was say go for it.
Please tell us the story.

My first offical MC was a 1970 Honda SL 100. Have a sorta replica of it tucked up in my garage. It runs but needs allot of work.

Hey Jerry, we kinda dated the same girl back then huh.
