grabit What do you think? CRF Rebuild!

Ok, I'm thinking of getting black radiator shrouds and the n-style patriot graphics for my CRF instead of stock. I've done a little doctoring with fireworks, but I'm not good enought to put the graphics on, so what do you think?

Here are the graphics

I have to agree with Rick (durnit!) I dont like black plastic cuz it shows scratches so readily. Plus it breaks up the lines of your bike and looks out of place.......Black, to me ,also makes a bike look heavier, especially black rims. This is just my opinion of course......but mine really matters!

I agree with Randy and especially yardpro,

An all black or all white CRF is AWESOME. Now ones with black fenders looks pretty cool with the red shrouds.

Default CRF Rebuild

Rebuild?! I thought this was going to be a thread on weather or not you should get the hi-comp piston and cam kit for the CRF... :

Like some of the others I would go all black or stay red. I had the Enslow kit on my '98 and loved it. To each his own though...and no matter the choice we need pics when you're done!

If u want to change it, do it!!! We all have a different taste and the only thing important is that we are proud on our steel horses when we ride it to the starting gate. Give us a pic when the transition is done!

I like the black shrouds, start with that and then replace the rest as you break them.

I don't like the black look. IMO, go all out and get the One Industries I-bike kit. THEN you will have one unique bad *** CRF! I've also seen yellow CRF's that look sweet. The patriot graphics may be okay, but if you go that route stick with red shrouds. My votes on the I-bike kit

I-Bike eh, I do like they way they look but I like black much better. Yellow is meant for RM's and Yamaha's. The Yellow one I saw in the 909 was not good looking at all.

I'm pretty sure I'm going black, since it is where I want to go anyway. I'm just taking the poor man's route.

I did see a larger pic of the partriot graphics on the net. I'll see if I can round it up and put it on a black shrouds to see what it looks like.

Thanks again for all your input.

If you go black, go ALL black. It will look much better that way. I just think the black shrouds would clash. Me, I'd go I-bike or stick with stock. Maybe some nice stock 04 graphics or the Woody Woodpecker ones you're always ranting about

Problem is, I don't have an unlimited budget. I have only a certain amount of money I can spend, so the other options are not really options.

Budget smudget If it were me, I'd try and save the bux to get all black or the I-bike, or just go with red/Woody Woodpecker. Trust me Jonathan, I know all about the limited budget : How much is the I-bike kit anyways? Hell, I guess if you want the black shrouds, try and find a cheap black seat cover (Ebay hint hint) and it should look okay.
