Default What dirtbike?

I am 14, 130lbs, and 6' and my 2008 Yamaha TTR125L aint cuttin it anymore. I have a hare-scramble race coming up this fall and i need a new dirtbike before then. I need one thats light, full of jumpy power, and i prefer Honda because my family has raced Honda for years. All the things i am looking for in a dirtbike point towards a two-stroke, but i have ridden my friends 80cc Suzuki two-stroke: it couldnt go up half the hills around my house, and when i tryed to ride it slowly over rough rocks i couldnt control the power and i ended up dumping it six times. So please help me find a dirtbike that i could grow into.

Don't be afraid to look at a KDX200. Plenty of friendly power, and I've been over quite respectable doubles on them.

It is. It's easy to start, easy to ride, easy to maintain. More power than a 125, but not as much brutal power as a 250. Parts are easy to get.
You can let pretty much any friend or family member learn to ride on it. But it'll still rip when you want it to if you ride it like a 125.

ya id go with a 125 2t or 250f. a 125 2t would be a good step up from a ttr125 before making the leap to a 250f because they are much easier to work on and a heck of a lot cheaper. and not to mention way more fun than four strokes!
