what bars?

what bars should i get for my cr80. i need some new ones becuse my fly bars are all tweaked out of shape.
i was thinking mabey the pro taper contours but an ATM'er seems to think they would bend easly.
whats your opinion?

I'm tellin you, Pro Taper 7/8th's or Pro Taper Taperwall made by Easton, dont get the CONTOURS!!!!!

i thought the easton bars were "Massive 1.125" (1-1/8") diameter clamp area." so they wouldnt fit on stock clamps?

I would go for Renthal 7/8 aluminum bars.

Although I've looked a few sites up and they all make the bars for 1996-2002/4 CR80/85.

I think just some research will probably help you make your decision.

IMHO its worth getting oversize clamps and bars (pro tapers are 1 1/18", as are fat bars, twin walls etc). I've had Azonic twin walls, pro-tapers and renthal fat bars. Over all my favorite is the Pro Tapers but they are all vastly stronger than any 7/8" bar I've tried (renthal, moose, etc).

getting some fat bars would be awsome! but my wallet just cant afford that right now.

and ill look into the 7/8 renthals, if there cheaper then PT i would probley get them... lol

get the pro tapers, i've seen renthal's bend and i've never seen pro taper 7/8ths bend, unless u hit a tree

get pro taper se (7/8ths) i bent a set of renthals and i have already had three pretty good wrecks on my pro tapers and they havent bent yet.
