We've lost another...

A fellow rider died on the 20th during a Harescramble at the track where I ride. I was going to go out there the afternoon of the 22nd until I learned about it (the harescramble track was already designed and set up, and I was playing around on it just the day before - it was pretty fast). Needless to say I freaked out about it, and decided not to ride...
Big sigh.
How does this happen?

Sorry to hear about the loss of a brother rider. We have had several here in the last year. Ever since Garrett's death they seem to hit me much harder. I watch John like a hawk but he has to make his own way and is becomming a man now.

My heart and prayers go out to the young man's family and all of you in the Valley. may Gods strength and peace see y'all throough this time.
