upload help please!

hey I have uploaded pictures here many times the past couple months and never had this problem.

I get where I choose the pictures and click submit, then it goes through the long wait for the upload process... but instead of going to the page that shows the pictures when its done, its just a blank white page.

I have been trying this since last Thursday and more than 10 times. Anybody know what I am doing wrong?

I think you should try clearing the cookies and cache from your browser and see if that makes a difference.

Done but still no cigar.

I guess its something on my end, all I know is they are going through the uploading process. So somewhere in cyberspace there are about 20 pictures floating around.

I have another computer upstairs, so I guess I will make my way up there sometime today and see if it works. Ill let you know what happens.

Well I am on the other computer and I tried 3 times to upload pictures and I get the same thing. So now that I have eliminated the computers, I guess all that is left to blame is my connection to the Internet?


I use a wireless router for the laptop, but the upstairs computer is directly connected to it. The router is connected to a satellite "receiver" and that goes to the satellite outside. After that it’s all wireless.

I know my satellite connection is slow for uploads. But I upload often, just the past few days I have uploaded several videos and pictures to other websites with no problem. (Other than the wait)

It’s only here that I can not seem to complete the process.

I was having problems with my uploads and downloads a while back and a friend of mine suggested to reset the router and modems. Worked like a charm. Its a free troubleshooting tool. Unplug all your power connections (with computer on) and restart your computer. After the reboot start by plugging your satellite, then modem and last your router. Your computer should recognize your IP address. Like I said before, its worth a shot and its free.

aaah not working here either..ive reset my router and deleted n reaccepted cooies many times....it works and then just stopped a few days ago, at least im no the only one

Thanks for reminding me of that!! You are right about it helping in many cases. Unfortunately it didn't work for me this time. But I never would have remembered to try that. So thanks again!!

Ok, I did some checking and fixing, and optimizing and well, pretty much anything I could think of to help this. Let me know if it still doesn't work.

Hey Woody, Thanks for doing everything you have, but its still not working.

I think the problem is where ever it goes between us. The ATM site seems to be responding the way it should, its somewhere in the middle that isn't.

I looked on the photopost website to see of any troubleshooting problems but I couldn't find any info that helped.

IMO I think the problem is there since you have looked into it as much as you have.

But then again.. I know absolutely nothing about working the web from the other end.

Maybe if you have a firewall it might be blocking it. Try turning off the firewall then uploading the pics.

It's pretty much a direct connection from you to the ATM server, so I doubt that's it, but it could be?

2000kx250 brings up a good question. Have you installed any new Virus software recently? The reason I ask is that sometimes they come with firewall stuff and you might have blocked something?

Is anyone else experiencing problems?

I haven't installed anything new in months. I tried uploading with all security disabled and nothing different.

I am having hard time understanding, why it did the same thing for other people, but then worked for them later?

This started almost 2 weeks ago, I just thought it would have worked itself out by now

I haven't tried in a few days. Kinda frustrated. Oh well, my loss
