Default turning BLUE, eerrrmmm i mean white

Im finally getting myself a brand new bike, fullsize that is.

I was in my local yamaha shop talking to my mates about riding and so on, and while i was chatting away my eyes were fixated on a certain bike in the showroom of the shop.

Only problem is im a honda guy, i love everything about Honda's. But i couldnt turn my attention away from this white beauty, 2008 YZ250F.

So i asked my mate (who is the sales guy in the shop) how i would go about financing one, i think he and the other guy shat themselves, they were in as much shock as i was, that i would even ask about buying a yami. My only condition was, that it was not blue, no way will i have a blue bike, but a yami hidden in white plastics will do.

They claimed i had seen the light and all this other heaven almighty stuff, but it was just a gut instinct that told me to get it, and the cook approved as well.
Today i have been approved for my finance and will be picking up the new steed in few days or so when i sort out my insurance.

i havent been this excited about bikes in a long time, i cant wait to finally throw a leg over a brand new motocrosser.

That will be a great bike. Just make sure you find something to bounce your front tire off every time you want to turn.

You will love the bike. If you are having any turning issues first ditch the front tire it is junk I learned, and raise the fork tubes in the clamps 5mm. There are a few other trick I just learned in the last few weeks but I have gotten my 08 turning as good if not better than my roommates new 08 Honda. It cost me about 100 bucks but that was beacuse I got a new set of bars.

JD.....
I'm a Honda guy (bet no one guessed that).
However your decision is good (the bike is a good one) and you are going to have fun.
However....WE NEED PICTURES.

Congrats on the new steed!!! My son just bought the same, yesterday...but he got the 450. Yeah, man....they're sharp. I gotta' agree with Psycho, though....it doesn't like to turn. Bein' a Honda guy, you'll soon find that you're not in Kansas, anymore. S'alright, though...you'll eventually get used to it but at first, well...ya' might wanna keep some spare underwear, in your gear bag.

got my bike 2day, bout 3pm. took it straight out my parents place and looked at it for 5 minutes, then went straight out for a ride. only problem was, that it started raining pretty heavy 15 minutes into my break in .

and it didnt let up either. bike felt good but, heaps more comfortable than my 99 cr250.

am off work tomorrow, but its supposed to snow/rain here... hope the gods can shine a little bit of light down, just for a few hours.
