Default Tugalong Recreation Park NOW OPEN!

Hi all, we've just opened a 5500 acre recreation park called Tugalong. It's only 90 minutes from Sydney, Canberra and the south coast NSW and is located in the southern highlands near Bowral.
The park has incredibly diverse terrain similar to the Blue Mountains. We are still developing signs and trails but there's already hundreds of kms of tracks and mountain trails with plenty more to come. check out the site for some of the pics. [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].

We've started putting in motocross tracks including a pretty mad big jump track and smaller tracks suitable for all ages so there's plenty of places for families and kids to ride.

There's 25 kms of rivers throughout the Park and some awesome hill climbs. Accommodation is available and you can get annual memberships which give you access to the park all year round.

We would love to get some ideas and suggestions for the park.
come down and check it out! we will be having a launch party some time soon which. If you want to come along to scope out the park email me through the site.

cheers,

c

Thumbs down

The environmental damage to Tugalong Recreation Park is excessive, and there are no professional safety precautions in place. Just ask the people who have had serious injuries.

I would question their so called "detailed environmental impact plan" as I highly doubt that an EIS has been done. I recommend people find a safer alternative.

Imagine that a tree huggers first post is about somone else's choice for active entertainment, and the negative impact to someplace they will never see themselves! They now make electric bikes, maybe you would like to try one sometime, it really is more fun than you might think.

Dooter, climb back up on your perch and squark somewhere else you looser. This is a motorcycle forum not a vent your spleen forum for the minority tree huggers, get a life some people actually enjoy theirs, like the ones riding at Tugalong

Back to the topic, it's great to see you open up your land for offroad bike riders, we don't have a lot of private bike parks in Aus like America, so any new ones are a big plus. If i'm ever down that way i will surely drop in and bring my entourage of happy children who love riding and living life
