I have treid towing, didnt go over very well. My sons 65 seized up so my friend got on that bike and we took a tie down strap to my 450's sub frame and put the hook on the handlebars. Got about 10 feet and my friend landed face first in the dirt, no helmet on, black eye, cut up forehead, I felt pretty bad.

If you are towing in a relatively straight line the best location to hook onto is footpeg to footpeg, we do this all the time on the real cold days to fire up the bikes for ice racing.

Gotta second it. Footpeg to footpeg is the way to do it. Done it lots, of times.
