Default tire mounting problems

I am a new dirt bike owner but a long time mechanic. I have just finished my first attempt at mounting some new tires on my cr250. I am having the same problem on both of them. One spot on a single side isn't completely seating the bead against the rim. I took them both up to 30 #s. Both areas not seating are around the valve stem I'm not sure if that matters. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance

is it not seating around the valve stem or the beed lock?...also make sure you use a little soapy water around the rim and tire so it can slide in and seat ....

Getting the tires warm sometimes helps. And sometimes I would bounce them (straight up and down like a basketball) around trying to hit the unseated spot on the ground.

Don't be scared to pump them up to 70psi to seat them, then back them off to 13-14psi.

I just got back on and finally found my own post, sorry I'm not exactly an expert forum user yet. Thanks for all the help, I finally just pumped 60 pounds in it and left it for a few hours and they both just slowly crept onto the shoulder. It was kinda weird, I have mounted lots of other types of tires and never seen anything like that before. Thanks again for the info
