Default Things I can do without...add yours

OK, Cory's thread got me thinking...These are some of the things I would not miss if they happened to disappear from MX/SX. Add your personal peeves to the list and let's see what we can come up with.

1) Erin Bates' new chompers. The hottest "mature chick" in MX decided to have a "dental lift" and fell victim to the same guy that transformed Matt Dillon's teeth in "Something about Mary". I cringe everytime she struggles to get her lip up and over those tusks....woman, what were you thinking?

2) The booty shake/hip swagger of the 30 sec girl. What is all that about? As if being chosen only because of the shape of your midriff wasnt humiliating enough, you're made to stand in mud, ankle high to your imitation Jimmy Choos, as you hold up a board with a big 3-0 on it. Whats going on in that Einstein mind of yours as you rhythmically sway your malnourished hips back and forth to the beat of 20 4 strokes warming up?

3)Tony Alessi...frankly, what can I say about Anthony that hasnt already been said? Heck, I cant resist...Tony, listen...Its time to let go, man. Youve done everything a moto dad can do for his son...oops, sons. Youve pulled him, I mean them, out of school and osmosed your 8th grade education into his, err, their young impressionable mind(s). Youve stood shamelessly at MX tracks around the country screaming out instructions, demanding his, I mean their, undivided attention to your every little detail. Youve humiliated them in front of a countless number of kids that had the gall to ride merely because it was fun. You've announced the second coming of the Supreme ruler and predicted his dominating force to the unsuspecting masses-Heck, you even silk screened this declaration. Youve instilled an undying, unresolved competitive spirit in him, sorry, them, that stands(on the front tire of opponents) head and shoulders above the competition. Tony...your wife needs you bro, let the boy(s) go.

4)The repeated reminders, in the most monotonous of voices, Ralph Sheheen repeatedly repeating, show, after show after show "...good thing he didnt kill that 4 stroke because those big 4 strokes are almost impossible to restart."

OK, I'll bite lol I could do with out local race tracks/promoters who put on races just to suck up the riders money and absolutly refuse to put any more time or money back in to the track.

I can't stand looking at Jeff Emig while he talks. He isn't TV personality material. When you don't look at him he is alright but man get some personality Jeff.

Erin oh man you hit that on the head about her teeth. She struggles to to close her lips around those choppers. Her eyes are getting weird too maybe its just age. Bring back Krista Voda. I must admit Erin is not afraid to ask the hard questions though.

Good one Doc!

Or when a rider is interviewed they start the interview with "I mean" pretty sick of that too. Bubba is one of them.

Thats all the homeschooling. Its a commonly used phrase in the MX industry and it will become helpful in their new career as a rider rep for...<insert company name here>....I mean that order will be there this afternoon...I mean the shipping has been delayed...

Bubbas fake smile during interviews, I am about sick of that.

The names of the respective classes in SX.....lites specifically.

The girls who DON'T shake when holding up the 30 sec board.

The fat guy we had at Houston SX instead of the Cute 30 Sec girl.....I mean come on Texas is full of gorgeous women!!!

The same three guys on the podum every week!!!!

The same cookie cutter tracks every week(each track must have two 60 ft triples{right in front of each grand stand} and the token whoop section. where's the creativity?

Most definitely the ugliest 30 sec chick I'd ever seen.

The PC interviews that nearly every rider gives. How about just giving us your honest opinion about what actually went on out there?

When riders are being interviewed and they use the word "good" instead of "well". I just want to scream at the TV and say "GET AN EDUCATION"!

Isn't Mike Alessi that punk that took Iven Tedesco out at the 05' 250f Championship, and then stood on his front wheel to prevent him from going while he dragged his bike closer? He even tried to hit his kill switch and then the only reason he moved was because Iven's teammate Matt Walker came back and shoved Alessi off the bike. Is that "one" of Tony's kids?

I could do without...

1. Ricky saying ever place or thing is "special" to him.
2. I'll second the "it's all good" statements from James.
3. Paying an entrance fee to a track then also having to pay class fees. Shouldn't the spectators pay entry and the racers simply pay for each class they enter?
4. Shaheen and the "4 strokes are impossible to start" business.
5. People blaming the track for their crashes. If the track is too slick or too rough for your skill, perhaps you shouldn't push hard enough to crash. If you need a track that is perfectly smooth and without any slick wet or blue grooved areas than perhaps you should take up road racing or supermoto.
6. People asking what pipe they should buy for their bikes and then asking how they can cheap out on their safety gear. For some reason folks won't blink an eye at coughing up $600+ for a blinged out pipe that won't do anything for them but they'll complain about spending $400 on a helmet or how the Leatt brace is overpriced.
7. Parents that buy their kids the cheapest second hand safety gear, mismatching pants, jerseys and gloves yet they have the newest TLD helmet, gear and Tech10's.

I dont exactly like the sx tracks being so similar either, but it reminds me of when they were made by different people and not to any real uniform plan. there were lots and lots of serious injuries. broken backs were way more common. sx was much more dangerous that way than the outdoors were. so i guess i will have to be content with them being to "spec".

The grenaded 4th gear and subsequent case-splitting venture on my 250f. It wouldn't be so bad if somebody else could pay for it
