Florida, are you referrring to a turret press. Just a rack and pinion set up vertically?

For years I used a bottle jack and a retangular piece that I welded together from 6" channel. Make some jigs and push pins and you would be surprised what you can do. Or just spend a few hundred for one the discount house 10 ton jobs. The turret press is really fast though and a good value.

I use the heat gun and my own lathed over bearing installers, which you can get at a bearing house when I change bearings. That MP one sure is impressive to hold though,,just makes you think you are going to go as fast as Reed, knowing his tuner uses one.

Could you elaborate on what the MP is, where it could be purchased, etc...thanks, it sounds like the way to go.

They can be purchased directly from MP or from your local dealer thru Parts Unlimited. Tdub
