That's good news. Possibly arthritis?? When I had my knee surgery a couple years ago in addition to the trash that was in there they removed arthritis. It was best described similar to little bone spurs....but they're not spurs.

Glad there is some light at the end of the tunnel.

Dane,

Excellent news, I'm glad that you're back on track! The ball is definately in your court with the therapy. It's okay to be aggressive, but you don't want to over do it, trust me. Definately let us know what the outcome is of the patho report. Good luck during your recovery, hopefully it will be a swift one.

that great news, buddy. and that little ice chest you're talking about is a genius invention, they sent one home with me for my knee and it's one of the most handy things i've ever seen. it beats an ice pack any day.

now all you've got to do is get healed up!

Wow its the morning after and the pain is killing me. I had to sleep on the couch (which pops out like a recliner) to keep my arm propped up. I got about 2 hrs sleep at a time before waking up to throbing. I am going to try to go to work today and see how it goes. I won't be going a full day though. I have to bag my arm if I want to take a shower bummer.

Holy crap little crystal growths! :

Well at least they found something and hopefully they got all of it too. Didn't they give you some painkillers or anything?

Man Dane, I really hope you are now on the road to recover and can put this injury behind you once and for all and get back to riding soon.

Hang in there man.

Glad to hear they found something. Crystal growth?? Sounds like maybe uric acid; could it be gout????

Hope you get to feeling better

Yes eating vicodin like candy but the pain is worse than the vicodin good. I just have to live up to the name and suck it up for a few days.

Its ok Frakke I would rather do it right than rush it and have to miss more months of riding. a few weeks here or there won't make a difference in the big picture. I love riding and won't take it for granted.

Yeah Dane, just take it easy and recover completely that's the most important thing. I know it's hard not being able to ride your baby now... especially with all the new blingy stuff you put on her, but mid April will be here before you know it and you'll be out there tearing it up again.

I'll be very interested to hear about the pathology report.

Count on my prayers and positive thoughts

Dane,
After the calls from you at the hospital that helped my spirits so much you can count on my prayers for the docs, hurses and techs to be guided and for a speedy recovery. Please keep us posted on how you progress. We will have none of that complications and additional surgeries stuff like I had hit me with you. Ironmen gotta lead the way!

Prayerfully,
Bill

Damn I just wrote a whole long response and it went poof!

Let me try again
Bill hope your feeling better my problems are trivial compared to yours!

I went to the Doc this morn and he didn't have the pathology report back yet. He did say that the swelling has gone down a bit from the surgery and I should start therapy.
Not knowing what it is stinks. In our research (mostly my wifes) we think it might be pseudo gout. sSo not much news to report today but I will be going to the evaluation appt for therapy and hopfully they will be in by then.

Thanks for remembering pragmatic that you all needed a report. I wish we wouldn't have lost our digital cam I would post a picture of the contraption that I have tied to my wrist for icing.

D,

It's good to know you're alive, I was eagerly awaiting the report too. Thanks for reminding him Prag. I'm sure you'll let us know more when you do, keep up the good work, and good luck with your therapy!
