Default Should I trade my old bike for this car?

Hey. I've been trying to trade/sell both my dirt bikes to get either a 450cc machine, or perhaps a sport bike... Someone called me and offered to trade me a 1986 Chevy Camaro Z28.. it is white, good condition, and has a crate motor installed, a 355CI "roller motor" (350 bored 30 over) with Holley 4 barrel 750 carb, high rise Edelbrock intake, MSD distributor and ignition, Crane cam, forged pistons, shaved "powerpack" heads, 1.5 aluminum cran am roller rockers and push rods, high torque ministarter, B&M ratchet shifter with 2500 stall converter, gear driven timing, motor has 500 miles on it. BTW, it's an automatic.
The guy has lost his license for a year and cant use the car, but wants a dirt bike... I dont know enough about this to know what its worth...
He wants to trade this even for my 04 KX250, has FMF gnarly pipe, Vforce 3 reeds, Pro Taper bars, Factory Connection suspension (5.4 rear spring and stiffer fork spring, cant remember the rate), and the bike is in good shape, a few bumps and bruises, nothing serious, runs very strong...

What would you guys do???
Thanks for all suggestions and opinions!!

I guess you will just have to decide if you want a dirt bike or a car at this point.
In my mind the car could be worth a lot more that the dirt bike, but if the car is of no use to you then it may not be a good swap.
Your call....

I agree with paw, the car is most likely worth more than the bike. If you are not interested in the car, then you have to decide if it is worth it to trade and try to sell it for the extra cash.

Well, that's what I was hoping... see, I have no use for the car whatsoever.. Mainly due to fuel economy (or lack of it!).... But, I have the KX up for sale or trade along with a 05 WR250F, trading them BOTH for a 450cc MX'er, or a street bike... But if I got the car, I'd just sell it and use the funds for 450/street bike...
Thanks for the opinions thus far!

where i live at this time i could sell the car as you describe for about twice what a 2004 kx250 would bring. I wouldnt want the car either, but since you are trying for a moveup sale, I think I would take it if if is like you say it is. you may want to have someone that knows more about engines than you determine if it is going to run long enough for you to make the profit we are talking about.

Thank you. I really appreciate that this site has some ....... civility. At least until we start debating 2 stroke vs 4 stroke!

I would have like to have seen that also. I bet it was so eloquently worded like the true poet he is.
