Default Shock spring upgrade

I'm thinking of upgrading my old shock spring, which I believe is stock. I'm looking for a stiffer spring, since I have a lot of weight at 6' 3" 210 pounds. I found a race tech one, but I don't know what size I need to get. If you guys have an idea it'd be much appreciated

What year and what bike is it? Technically when you put a stiffer spring weather it be forks or shock you should re valve it. You can only get so much adjustment out of your stock valving. But acording to your weight it's not going to be that big or a jump on the spring so you might be ok on the valving depending on what you do with the bike. Nevermind i see what bike it is now. stock it's set up for a 190 LB rider. The spring you need is racetech number

SRSP 622850 it's $115.00 If you want to change your fork springs also it's FRSP 414648 and they are also $115.00 for the pair hope this helps

Have you ever touched the internals of suspension before? Do you have access to Nitrogen? Sometimes some machineing needs to be done, not sure if you would though.
