Default RM-Z250 and KX250F

is it true? i just read that the RM-Z250 and KX250F are the same bike with different plastics! i quote "Kawasaki and Suzuki alliance revealing the recently released RM-Z250 and KX250F clones." then it goes on describing the only difference is the size of the shroud! i dont know who to feel sorry for, Suzuki for being like Kawasaki or Kawasaki for being like Suzuki! LOL! mabye together, they can finally match the awsome power of the YZF or the indestructable CRF250. Honda Forever!

Feel sorry for Kawi? Why? They're smoking everyone with the KXF on the west coast. The KXF has pulled all of the holeshots as well. If your going to feel sorry for someone feel sorry for all the boneheads that can't recognize a great bike when they see one. I"ve ridden all the new 250 four strokes and they are all very very good!

Who cares which bike is where.....

Put the person who is at the front on any other bike and they will still beat the others. Its the rider not the bike.......Put Bubba on any other colour and he will still beat the rest!

Yep they are the same, where have you been?
Kawi built the bike, suzuki built the motor. The rest of the cross branded models are not a combined effort. The KXF is a DRZ400.
The rm60, rm65, rm100 are KX's

Welcome to last year.

I thought that Kawasaki's frame was different. At any rate they're the same company, but still putting out there own bikes with the exception of a few of them being clones. They should just make it Suwasaki.

I don't know what peoples deal is with Suzuki. I've owned and ridin them for years and don't have any complaints. I had a rm80 with a 125cc engine in it, and I'd smoke any 250 out there on it. I'd love to get one of the new RMZ or KXF bikes. Just don't want to spend 6 grand on one right now.

Yeah, as I have said before...Ima loves her RMZ. Most folks that ride it like it as well.

This was back in the early 80's. My dad did the work. Not sure exactly how he did it, but it's not hard to modify a frame to except a different engine. There's not much difference between the 80 and 125. So, I don't think he had to do much of anything.
