Default riding in winter

     

does anybody ride their bike in the snow? will it hurt anything on the bike. if it is jetted right i dont see why it would. i took mine out today in the snow for ****s and giggles and i had a blast. does it hurt anything??

I wouldn't think so. besides, most engines perform better at cooler temps.

I bought my CRF450 when there was snow and ice on the ground here. I couldn't resist not riding it, so I broke the bike in riding on snow and ice.

Go for it and have fun. If you ride anywere that might have salt on the snow be sure to wash it off real good. That's the only thing I can think of that might hurt your bike in the snow. O- and watch out for the ice.

Put it this way, it's easier on the bike than mud. A lot of people up in michigan stud their tires and continue to ride. I rode mine in my backyard last year, and it's fun in like a foot deep snow, you can turn on a dime, it's like a berm is created as you turn, right as you go through.
