Unhappy Riding place closed

My riding place I go to 3 mins from my house was just closed today. When I got to the so called " staging area" there was a big CAT tearing down all the trails and trees, it really sucks. Now some rich yuppies are going to be living on my playground. It was saddening to see the tractor tearing down my favorite jump. Now I have to drive 45 mins to the national forest or pay the $25 to ride at a track 15 mins away. Damn it sucks. slowly but surly the goverment will deminish off-roading all together.

Sorry to hear. I'm grateful there's so many places to go where I'm at. I couldn't imagine losing my close favorite spot. Makes you appreciate what you have. I remember the days of driving hours to go ride.

well, our favourite spots have allways been the construction sites, that always get cleared. and our MX track which is now under water due to flooding. i feel your pain but you got it easy. at least there is somewhere you can go. round here, we just free ride where ever we want or can. Dirtbikers Vs the Cops and residents, and consite workers and farmers. its a consistant strugle for justice every day.

Just this summer some trails that were 4 minutes away from my house got torn down...the trails had been around forever!...It was a horrible site, the day that I went to go riding and there was 24 huge cutting tree machines tearing apart everything...now half a year later they made like 8 houses and still have 20 houses to go...I HATE THIS IT SUCKKKSS..i can even walk thru the old trails andymore(it is a shortcut to the other side of my town) becuase they have a security guard that kicks you out for walking through...Im like WTF this isnt urs i used to ride whenever i want or whatever here...whatever there is a better sand pitz 15 minutes away(if u go by xr50...like 8 minutes by car) but I would still love to have the other one around because it was so close...
