Default REVITALIZED BY GMB

i don't know what has happened, but somehow i have stepped it up a notch. It all started at gmb. at the saturday practice i burnt 2.5 tanks of gas. i usually don't even take an extra tank to the track, becuase i usually only burn one per day.

i attributed it to the track. not the case. last weekend i ran out on the track at 3:00pm. Today i burnt almost two whole tanks.

I am spending more and more time on the bike at the track. i have been feeling more relaxed, and going faster. today i found the faster i went, the easier it was, and consequently the longer i could ride. i was clicking off my best lap times, and running 15 laps at a time.
all my friends have freaked out about how much i am on my bike, and how good i am looking now.
this is awesome. i feel like i am getting ever closer to where i was before my two bad accidents this past winter.

Thanks Garrett

Man,

I'm exactly the opposite. I bet I haven't rode 3 times since GMBII. I'm losing my desire to ride anymore. I can tell it won't be long and I'll be out of the dirtbike riding completley. ...especially after that accident with James Hillin...that was an eye opener for me

I'm sure glad I have a son to carry on the thrills for ol' dad :

On the contrary for me as well. I should have gone to GMB. This weekend at the track was terrible for me. Saturday I went after basketball practice and felt awful. The track was kinda beat up and I couldnt get into any sort of groove. I cased about every jump out there, even though I have done them all a thousand times. I loaded up and left before I hurt myself. I went back sunday, and met up with one of my best riding buddies who was just coming back to riding with a broken back. I was not doing too bad on the track, I could attack alright, I felt ok on the bike. But unfortunately there were about 100 people out there that day, and after the track was watered, some of the more stupid ones smeared themselves all over the track. I saw 3 people leave for the hospital in 30 minutes.

One guy crashed over a big double and broke a few ribs and his foot...

One guy on a ktm 400 ate it over a jump, and was in pain on the ground, and this moron on a 4 wheeler was just sitting on his quad, looking at the injured guy who was laying with his bike right in the middle of the landing area of a blind jump. Fortunately for me, I was taking a break on the side of the track in the mechanics area, tweaking something on my bike, when my bud trevor (broken back guy) flew over the jump on his bike, and didnt go flying over the next jump. Then I dumped my bike on the ground and went running towards the landing. I saw a very broken ktm on the ground in the middle of the landing area. I was very worried at this point, seeing how trevor rides a ktm, however it was another ktm guy that crashed. Fortunately for trevor, he only ran over the front wheel of the crashed bike, tweaking its forks, breaking the clutch perch, and ripping the front fender off of the wrecked ktm.

About 10 minutes after, I came over another jump to find a guy on the ground with a broken collarbone. Trevor and I agreed it was too dangerous, and loaded up and left.

Hopefully next weekend will be better for me! I still have the desire to ride of course, just had a bad week. At least I didnt get hurt!
