Remember my brake control saga?

Some of you may remember a few months ago I was fighting with the salesman I bought my truck from to get me the trailer brake control he promised me at the time of sell (verbal agreement). I bought the truck November 1 last year. To this day I STILL have not received anything, even after too many phone calls to count and a well-written letter (thanks again Bates). Since I'm moving in 3 weeks, I can't afford to screw around with it anymore and broke down and bought one today. My reason for posting this is- if you don't know someone, do NOT put your good faith in them, because they will probably let you down. Next time I WILL have a written agreement on everything and anything that goes with the deal. For anyone in the Spokane area shopping around, I DO NOT recommend 1st Choice Auto Sales, your money would be much better spent elsewhere.

Ouch man that sucks. Did you have any luck getting the brake control hooked up? If you need some help feel free to PM me as I install them all day long!

Well, I don't know if you remember the story, but he sent me a control that had been hacked out of a truck. No bracket, nothing. I sent it back (with the letter) saying that it was useless to me with no instructions on how to calibrate it. That was in January I believe : I bought a Tekonsha Voyager control and Ford 6 pin adapter from U-Haul, and all I have to do is connect the wires from the adapter to the control, install the bracket and mount it up! I'm pretty sure I can hook red to red, blue to blue, etc. but if I have a problem I'll hit you up for sure

Winthrop, WA to work for the Forest Service, so I won't be hanging around with your dad all summer I saw him today at Palouse Country and told him about it, but I'll be working 4 10's so I may come down and ride with him on a few weekends since I'll have 3 day weekends all summer I was gonna PM you last night but I forgot.. sorry!
