Default Regretting my decision

As I read the postings about GMBIV, I regret not telling my boss I HAD to have this last weekend off. Sometimes things just don't work out. I'll try again for next year.

I know how ya feel. I scheduled today off as my floating holiday for this and chose to stay home since I was not able to ride.

I AM going next year if I can ride or not.

I'm glad you didn't get to see me ride your bike. I put it to shame. The camera guys were like go faster, so I can take a pic, I was rolling everything like a squid. I was sooooo tired, I just shook my head in disgust. But Wheaty, you are the best. I really appreciate your friendship. Yes, next year you have to go.

Proama...the cool thing about the GMB, especially the ATM class, is that it is not about how well you ride, but rather that you are there

Ernie...we missed you bro. Next year we will abduct you if necessary

Yeah, nobody likes regrets. I am dead certain I didn't spend as much money as many of the other out-of-state folks that showed up but I spent ALOT! I used up four days of vacation from work and jedi jr missed three days of school. (He's making A's) I paid his entry fees for two classes and mine for three. Gate fees added up to an additional $60 over both days. I remember only a few times in my life that I have been as exhausted as I was Sunday night. I can't explain the importance of my actions to my co-workers or to some of my family. But all of that is okay! I have no regrets.
GMB is growing. GMB is spreading its focus. GMB is still about Garrett and always will be to many of us. But it is also reaching out in a big way to the rest of the dirtbiking families who have lost loved ones. That was very evident in the riders meeting and my hat is off to Mr. Berg and the leaders of ATM. The only other thing I can say is that I am honored to be a part of it and I will be there next year barring some catastrophe. I look forward to meeting yzernie next year.

BTW, that isn't me in the wig. I ride a red bike.

Same

Sounds like something that everyone should go to at least once in a lifetime!
