Question Reed vavle spacers?

I decide to keep my bike for racing hare scrambles but i need to modify it a little more to get it better suited. So my question is Do reed valve spacers work, also on ebay ive seen these rings that you put between the pip and exhaust flange. Are these both affective mods to gain more low end power?

From what I hear, Reed valve spacers do work, I was actually looking into getting one for my RM, I'm pretty sure they give you more bottom, and about the exhaust spacers, I was also curious about them, and I started a thread about them a while ago, but I couldn't really find anybody that offered them for my bike, but I hear they do work.

I have heard good things about the Moose torque spacers. Good luck with the harescrambles!! Have you done any yet? I think your bike will do fine, it just takes some time learning throttle control with the smaller bore bikes. Just make sure you get some good metal hand guards.

Contrary to the spacer theory, the OEMs have been moving the reed cage closer and closer to the bottom end to try and gain more lowend and torque. By doing so, they are essentially raising the primary compression.
The pipe spacers work as the longer the head pipe, the more apt it is to gain lowend and midrange. For more topend I take 10mm out of the head pipe length. Cometic offers 2 exhaust gaskets in their CR kits...one thin and one thick, just for that tuning option. Tdub
