I just purchased an MX71 for same price. I havent had a chance to ride with the new tire to have an opinion yet. I hear alot of good reviews with the whole line of Geomax tires.

Hopefully I will get a chance this weekend.... I refuse to mount a tire on a 19" rim to big a pain in the backside. It's just not worth the time for me to do it so I have to take it somewhere, I will pull the rim on Saturday and take it to one of 2 places.

Thanks
Scott

I did the rear and it was a pain in the booty for sure!! :irked I did the front and it is much easier but after had it all back together realized I must have pinched tube and now have to do it again with new tube. :doh

Definetly helps to have at least 3 tire irons. Not having a tire stand does not help the situation though.

I used the MX51 all last season. Great wear and awesome traction. I ride in a mix of hard packed and mud...depending on the grooming for the day. The front MX51 was a different story, but that could be a riding/suspension issue.

I've not use the MX51 yet but it's on my list of tires to try.

For those of you having problems changing tires you really need to see this video set.

As he says, if it's hard, you're doing something wrong ;)

I have found that taking the laptop out side to help (I can watch it when I get stuck with something that's not working right). I am down to about 30 minutes for a tire change and I've only popped one tube in about 8 tire changes (I got in a hurry with the one I popped).
