Default Quiet silencer...

So since I got my yz 125 my dad has been complaining about the noise of my dep shorty silencer. I know that my bike will never be "quiet" to him, but I was looking into a quieter silencer that I can use when im riding around the house, but I can throw the Shorty silencer on for track days.

With that said, what is the best flowing pipe, that still reduces the noise level. I was looking at the FMF Q silencer, since it has a spark arrester which I will need in order to ride on the state parks trails up here in PA. Has anyone ever used this pipe??? What are some of my other options??

thanks
Jim

Jim, I have the 'Q' on my CR250 and I have had no problem with it. At my last race I popped off a 94db level. The only down fall is it looks like a small hand canon sticking out of the rear fender. If you need pics let me know.

The pictures are a little altered because the lighting was terrible and I had to use my vid cam. The pipe doesn't get in the way at all.

HOLY CRAP!!! those things are huge... lol well its to late now, I already picked one up on ebay for 130$$ I dont think it will matter that much, since it will only be on the bike when im trail riding, or around the house. I can throw the shorty on any other time.

FMF Q silincer is the best thing you can buy in this type of situation.
