Talking Protection?

What kind of protection do you guys use when riding?
What I mean is...what gear do you use to protect yourselves? I have had several bad incidents where a cup would've been nice: and I was wondering if anyone does use one? Along with who uses knee/arm pads and all that?
Currently I just use an under the jersey chest protector. I was wondering what the pros use for protection too?
Thanks
This is mostly just an opinion thing, so say whatever you believe

Exactly.
Of course I wear all the regular gear: pants, jersey, helmet, gloves, boots, and all that.
I haven't had the best experiences down low

I believe a kidney belt is necessary also

I always wear one of these with the built in kidney belt. [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

I don't always wear goggles, but I always wear eye protection.

Yeah, I was thinking about this. I don't know how well they work and who uses them...but it looks like a great idea.

I use a 661 pressure suit which is basically the same and love it! I just throw it on like a jacket, zip up, velcro the kidney belt, and i'm ready to ride. No fooling with a chest protector or seperate elbow pads. I ride mostly MX and it has saved me more than once from major damage that I would not have survived so easily had I not been wearing it!

Yeah, this thing looks good. I think this would be good gear to have even if you wanted to wear other gear too. If it doesn't get in the way of moving yet it protects you, the more gear, the better...I think I may get one of these soon...I don't know which brand, they all seem pretty alike, but I think I am definitely going to get one

Oh, and apart from the helmet I believe this is the most important protection. Last summer I wrecked while hillclimbing. I jumped off the bike because it started doing a wheelie and was coming back on me. This hill was steep and slippery, so I couldn't control much. I jumped to the side and the bike decided to follow me. The footpeg fell right on my eye. I got an awesome scar on my eyebrow out of it, and I got a huge dent in my goggles, but I will tell you right now...without goggles (brand new that day ....good thing I had a replacement lense), I would have been looking at serious trouble. I could've been looking at blindness or possibly even death. I NEVER ride without goggles now...never really have, but I NEVER will in the future either.
