Default Pro Taper Bars

I scored a set of Henry/Reed bend 1 1/8 bar and risers for $30 from a guy I befriended at the track. I got everything on and a new bar pad on order. Anything else I'm missing?

I was able to transfer some relatively new ones I had on my old bars (pro taper waffle grips). There glue had not quite held up. So, I cut the wire on the left grip and transferred it over.
I did notice the clamps do not completely close. I have heard a few comments on YouTube videos regarding what to do in such a scenario. Do you guys have any recommendations?

They shouldn't completely close, otherwise they won't be able to squeeze the bars and keep them from flopping around. What's important is to make sure you have a relatively even gap on both ends of each clamp.

Nice pick up for $30. That's a great deal.
