Default Prayers appreciated

I had an angle grinder incident about 10 days ago. Took out my radial artery, two tendons, two nerves, and a little bit of bone on my left hand. Only thing not repairable was a nerve that was missing about 4cm. I'll have permanent numbness on the palm side of my thumb for life. Stitches (approx. 20) will be removed Mon. and therapy will be begin soon after to try to recover use of my thumb.

Prayers sent!

Gusco,

Jump on Amazon & buy a set of the finger hand exercisers.

I got 3 of them & have been working with them every day, starting whit the extra- lite (3lbs) working up to the lite & medium. it's slow going , but it helps.

Good luck with your recovery!

Holy crap, sounds like it could have been much worse! Hoping your recovery goes well.

Thanks, fellas! It definitely could have been worse. Came about 2cm from cutting both radial and ulnar arteries which the surgeon said would likely have resulted in losing use of my hand permanently. Drs were surprised that we were able to control the bleeding given the arterial damage.

Ouch! Brother there’s a million ways to get hurt aint all of them fun. Wife thinks I’m crazy for riding bikes but ya never know what’s gonna get cha. I tried to shake hands with a table saw years ago and almost chopped off my thumb, and it was the worst pain Ive ever felt. Like holding it over an open flame, I feel your pain. Hope you get better soon, and I also hope you’re right handed!

'preciate your well-wishes and prayers. The hand is progressing well and I have been moving my thumb for about 2 weeks now. My splint should be removed next week and we will begin the strengthening part of the rehabilitation process.
