Pray for the Linder family

Sorry to drop some bad news on everyone but thought some of you would want to know.

Just saw this on another forum, Big Maicos riding buddy Boobie Linder was killed in an auto accident.

Please take a moment for him and his family. Also for his extended family, Howard really worked hard on a benefit race for Boobie last year after his bad get off at 290MX, I am sure this is hitting to close to home for him.

If I remember correctly, Boobie is the guy who broke his neck last year. What a bum deal to survive that and then get killed by a truck. Life is soooo uncertain! That's why I live it up while I can. I may be the next one you guys are all sending condolences to the family about but I am going to live and enjoy as much life as I can while I have my health. We all are going to lose our health and die one way or the other. Let's make the most of it.

I had the pleasure to meet 'Boobie' and his family at the 290 Fund-raiser. He is [was] quite a man. He had a big heart and a love for his family - a passion for our sport. Boobie was always one of the first ones to help a fellow MX'er who needed help. To those whom knew him, Boobie will be remembered as "a man of passion and a man with a big heart." I did not know him long, but I knew from the instant I met him that I could call him my friend!

As Howard suggested, the Vintage Race @ GMB4 will be done in Memory of and called the Byron "Boobie" Linder Vintage Moto.
