Poker Run @ the All Day Event at Locust Stake

I wish everyone on the board could have attended this awesome event. We had an amazing turnout. We had hundreds of riders turn out. We had all kinds of riding clubs; ATV, bikes, etc. We had a great day on the 20 mile ORV trail. We had agreat day for the sponsors that showed up; we had Maxxis, Snap-on, FMF, HMF, Motion Pro Tools, Bell..just to name a few.

The first part of the morning we reserved part of the morning to get the trails ready, cleaning the trails, getting the logs and bolders out of the way in preperation to the Poker Run in the afternoon.

We had a TV crew from Turner South that was there filming the race and all the other events. They will be showing at the end of Sept or the beginning of Oct. The show time hasnt been established at the time of filming.

We had a cook out at lunch to get everyone fed for the upcoming poker-run. All along the 20 mile course they set up stations to collect different colored tickets. After you collected all the tickets you were to get back to the home-station to turn your tickets in to get your poker cards for the draw of best hand. Well, after I got in I was in sixth place and received a prize of Moose Racing Hold-Down Straps. Even though I didnt need the straps, it was refreshing to know I beat out so many good riders(not bad for a old man...LOL) The first prize was a full set of gear; gloves, chest protector..etc. Then we had a set of tires to be given away( that is what I wanted..LOL) Then we had a Bell helment. Our sponsors really supported us.
