Ernie I can say I really enjoyed riding with you and watching your son ride the mini track at Mesquite. The best part is the S$$! eating grin on his face that never comes off just like he never comes off the seat of that quad. Don't let the jerks get you down. You will always have the brothers here that support you.

BTW when are we going to ride together again?
I think about you everytime we run down Bear Valley Rd. to a race and think how far does he live from here. Maybe we can come by sometime before a race on sat or after a race on sun.

I can appreciate all of the coments left on this post...wether I agree with them or not!! What really chapped my hide was the belittling and degrading comments someone posted on the pics. I'm a pretty easy going guy but I simply don't like it when that happens.

I deleted the pics because I did not want anyone to fight my battle for me. I have yet to receive a return PM from the offending parties.......go figure.

I'll post the pics again. Thanks all.

yz
you have not gotten replies cuase the people are probably embarassed about thier childish behavior.

we see lots of new riders come to the track. a few of us work with them, helping them. seeing them overcome obstacles, however small, brings a sense of accomplishment. Seeing this reminde me of why i ride to begin with.

Thats Dude to you Matt!

Yes way to go Dude! We have to give back to the sport.
One of the things I love most about coaching youth (7-14yrs old) football for the past 7 years is watching the boys learn, seeing the light come on in a kids eyes and watching them become a team as the season progresses. Its very magical to watch them gel as a team especially when they are winning games. They see that it really is ateam effort and without eachother doing thier job they can't make it to a Win.
I am not fortunate enough to posses the knowledge to help others in riding technique. I wouldlike to think I have learned enough to to be able to share a little mechanical knowledge. I am still learning though everyday and I love it.

There are always narcissistic, self centered people on a website with the size and broad age spectrum such as this one.
It ticks me off at times, but as others have stated, tune them out.
For every single knothead, there's hundreds that care.
I CARE.
Hang in there!

Awesome post Faded...I couldn't agree more.

DBD...El Mirage sounds sweet! I remember the first trip to El Mirage with DBD, it was probably my 2nd or 3rd ride, and I was REALLY SLOW (still am ). DBD and DBK were so patient, helping me get better in the whoops and soft sand, even helping me climb a little hill. It was an awesome day of riding, and I am so appreciative to them for it.
