Paint.

Lately, I have been having a lot of fun painting stuff with just spray paint. I painted my helmet, the chopper bike, and other stuff. But, I really enjoy it, and thats just spray paint. I wouldnt call myself artsy, simply because I cant draw to well or anything. But, when I get an air compressor, I am gunna get a paintgun. I know where to get this, but what about a air brush, like what they use to detail things. Any help (sites etc) would be greatly appreciated.

I have seen air brushes at Wal-Mart..........heheheehe j/k..I think I have but they probably aren't to good. I would go to a car performance shop or something...Heck a good Auto Parts store(Advanced Auto Parts,Auto Zone, etc)might have air brush kits. Check your phone book under the YELLOW pages and see if you find any shops that catch your eye.

I found one on harbor freight for 63 bucks. Comes with jars and all. I dont know when I will be getting one, but not till I get a real compressor. I have one but no tank, so it has to be on all the time and thats just plain annoying.

we have a craftsman 25gal horizontal tank, regulated to i think 160 psi, and all the goodies like impact wrench, small impact wrench, air ratchet, rotary cutter/polisher/grinder and all that jazz. comes in VERY handy for stuff like Clutch basket nuts, and front sprocket nuts, etc. you can hold the basket with your hand to keep it from moving and it tightens as tight as you need.

i was thinking about getting some BlowPens for the shadowing etc. for my helmet and shooting a clearcoat over that to preserve it, since i'm sure the paint in those are "washable" and will come off in no time.

if/when you get the air brush, make sure you have something to take the moister out of your tank/hoses first. or your paint will look like crap. not exactly sure what they call these tho, i think condensors or something... i am a goof...

Check out a craft store like MJD or HobbLobby. They sell apackage deal w/ a compressor and brush set. They run around $200 total, but they have all the littlethings you dont think about like tips and such.
