OT: Workers Wanted!

Okay, guy's and gal's Australia is going through the biggest economic boom it's ever seen in it's short lifetime. We are screaming out for workers, of any type. From truck drivers to Doctors we need them all, I have a building company and find it very difficult to get good tradesman or labourers. So if your looking for a sea change and a good place to ride and live come on over we need you now!

Benefit package? Health, Dental, Insurance. free public health care and performance bonuses

Housing? yes and no depending on work location

Boyd, just a follow up on that, the central Queensland area is where all the coal mines are located, both open cut and underground. in the last 5 years or so about 25 new mines have opened up, swelling the demand for more housing and infrastructure and of course jobs. Most families choose to live on the coast (approx 2hours drive) while the Man or Women of the house in some cases go to work for 5days on 5 days off, some are 7-7 or 6-3 and 3-6 as examples. a deisel fitter or Mechanic who works in the mines will earn from 100k upwards plus a house or free single mans boarding with meals. A dump truck driver can earn up to 140k with o'time and coal bonuses, not a bad earn for driving a truck. my contract is with a coal company that owns 4 towns, i have normally only looked after 1, now they want me to expand and take on another town. Oh and the good thing all the towns have active Mx and flat track clubs.

I would say lots! You could have bought the one in my town recently, it's a little gold mine, no opposition. The goverment here at the momement are trying to recruit proffesional medical people from overseas, they are offering some pretty substantial deals to come over.
