Default OT: Tsumani video....not for the faint at heart

DISCLAIMER:
This is a horrific video. If you don't want to watch this then don't.

This is video of the Tsunami in Japan. It does show some very dramatic and tragic footage and is not for the faint hearted. NEVER underestimate the force of moving water.

I'm actually over there now, but not in the affected areas. Fortunately where I am (Okinawa) wasn't affected at all. It's interesting to see how resilient the Japanese people are, as compared to how our own people responded during Katrina a few years ago. We could learn a lot.

There were other disasters in the US after Katrina that barely made the news. Floods in Ohio and such but those people took care of their own instead of looking for the government to help and then blame. Big difference in how some people are raised.

I was going to make a comment on that type of thing in my op. The people of Japan stand in line and patiently await their food and water. Quite contrary to New Orleans where people were raping and pillaging the city while screaming they want more. Certain Americans (and I use that term loosely) should take a look and learn how you should act in a disaster.
