OT: Promotion at work!!!!

Well, I was told tonight at work that I may be getting a talking to from one of the big bosses. The guy running our first shift dont like to tell poeple what to do and is to mellow for the ones on the day shift(bunch of dope smoking misfits! ) Anyway, the night shift lead man comes to me and told me that the boss may be looking for someone to take over. He mentioned me since I basically am the number 2 guy there on nites. The boss said they might, and slim might have someone to do it, but nothing positive and nothing even close to a commitment. So he is looking inside for someone. I been there just over a year now and may have this job. i felt like a million bucks to get mentioned for this. Not sure of the pay increase if any, but the title is cool No way would I keep the guys who get high on. They do it at work near every day and don't get anything done. They walk around all day waiting to get sent home. Today the day shift super. sent 4 of them home for it. I think I will talk to the boss (if I get the job) about replacing them when I catch them doing it. I will just send them into him to see for his self. From there, they will get the UA (drug screen) done. I am by no means a snitch, but when it comes to working in a steel mill, there is NO room for error... CRAP!!! lost the subject... I called the wife and told her and she says "Bout time" So maybe with some luck and pushing from the night shift super, I will get it. Thats the important thing And I will get to work on the race car on nights...

Gotta get the jizzob first, then hopefully the $ will come in. It better be more then $.25 raise to. I will make the same. We get an extra .25 for night shift, days don't. The night super. only gets about 11.25 or 11.50 last I knew. He showed me a pay stub. I'm at like 10.25 now. Not sure, it's all gone so fast....
