Default One more Gurl rider.

So this summer right before I had my little spill and broke my leg, I convinced my dad that we should teach my 13 year old sister how to ride. The first time we put her on my old gt 80, but it was a little big for her and she was having some trouble getting used to the clutch. Sooo.... the very next morning my dad stops me while I'm riding and asks if I want to go to Clarion Cycles. So I get in the truck and we all drive down (mom, dad, Katie, me.) On the way there I start figuring out OMG he's gonna buy her a bike and shes only ridden once in her life and thats exactly what we did. Walked in, she sat on a 07 pw 80 and my parents paid in cash!!! I couldn't believe it she had never rode before and shes getting a brand new bike, I still to this day have not purchased a BRAND new bike, and I've loved riding since the very first time I swung a leg over.

Anyways... we got her all the gear she needed and even picked up a little power wheels raptor for my 7 year old sister. Since then Katie has made great progress, and she really loves riding. Every time we ride its like we bond together more as a brother and sister and stop all of our fighting because we now share a common love, and that love is riding and Yamaha's.

PICS!!!

Sophie, Katie, and Me.

Awesome! It's great to hear when families are involved. I think it brings them a lot closer together.

P.S. Love the blue cast!

Pretty cool! I applaud your parents for not being "afraid" of something like a broken bone or two.
That's a good lookin' family you have there.

Thanks. We have'nt been able to ride for awhile now since I broke my leg, and not that I've healed we moved so we should be able to get back into the swing of things in a couple more weeks. I've already checked out quite a few tracks in the area, now all I have to do is get her to jump
