I have to turn the music off for them to work for me. Maybe I need to rig up a tape loop of a clicking projector to really get the effect.
My brother just got back from Bessemer. He said things are looking good.

Well if the dry lake has water on it this weekend, things will get interesting. The race course will use some of it.
Coming out Marty?

Yeah, I'll be there as a spectator. Probably just on race day though. Most of our group chose January to do yearly rig maintenance so right now we're day trippers. My brother's new place is 3 miles west of Giant Rock. It came with several hundred old bike mags from the 50's - 70's so if it is raining too hard I'll be doing some sorting and reading.
I'll be riding the cleanest stock '83 XL600 out there. And I'm usually the only one at these events not advertising anything for anybody on my clothing.
What channel will they be on? I have race radio built into my helmet and truck and I always carry my med card. You never know.

Dez racers are !
However, everyone of you have my respect. There is NO WAY I would run in high gear, full throttle through that scrub. Well, maybe back in my teen years. Yeah, I'd be all over it then.

Great couple of vids.

I'd like to see the camcorder. I bet it was big.

I always enjoy stuff like that Main. Sure would have liked to have "Cowboy'd Up" and tried it when I was young!

Do you know who the Husky rider in the blue Moto Star w/lightning bolts is at the end of the first movie?

Andy, that was Dan Smith, one of the desert's long time champs. In the very beginning of that vid, the gal cleaning Dan'd goggles is my wife. My son raced against Dan a bunch (on another make bike) and we were all friends. We all helped each other pitting in the SoCal desert/Nevada and the Baja races.
Just the way it was......
Guess I gave you more than you asked for. LOL

Donít know what your channel frequencies are but the emergency Dist. frequency is 151.625 (Rescue 3) and the DMC race frequency is 152.915.
I will be at signup Saturday afternoon and early Sunday morning. On Sunday we will leave for check 1 on the 1st loop over by the rock quarry off Camp Rock rd.
Just look for an old guy with a DMC jumper with LEROY on it.

Thanks. I can look up the channels / frequency list. I have the standard CORVA set in PCI radios, labeled 1 - 16.
I'll see you out there.
