Question oil

     

Is ams oil the best motorcycle oil, for my yzf426?

The api rating that your machine calls for is what you should use. As for what brand is better, that depends on who you ask.

lol oil thread.. i use rotella t for transmission and lucas smokeless semi- synthetic for premix

Any oil that does not say "energy conserving" on the bottle will work for your bike. The factory recommends 20w50 weight for most climates. As for what oil is "best," all I will say is opinions are like arseholes- everyone has one and many of them stink.

Oil thread - Amsoil is a good high quality synthetic oil... but so are several others.

Haha yup. I use Honda GN4 oil in both engine and tranny on my 450, of course its a honda. I have always liked the Klotz premix for my CR250 and I also run the GN4 in the tranny on that bike.
