I did that about a week ago Bill. Dang Tequila.
Go drive your new truck. Driving a new truck is an elixir.

Speaking of the new truck, I discovered something different on them.
I was backing up (slow) and while still going backwards I shifted into neutral and then to drive. The truck was still going backwards (very slow) and it killed the engine.
I think the computer kills the engine under this condition.
The 2000 truck didn't do this.
Try this on yours and see if it does the same.

LeRoy,
Tried that with my truck, didn't happen in 3 tries. I do have the ultrasonic back up alert system with the warning lights and audible tones so that may make a difference. Too dang much electronics on these things for me.
