Default News Flash on Raffle '04 YZ450F

Paypal link for Raffle tickets

As of Wednesday Nov 24 there have been 125 tickets sold for this bike. Due to the lack of sales Mark and his family have relaxed the 5 ticket minimum so you may buy more. They have now made it so somebody may buy their way into "The Ultimate Thumper" for a couple hundred dollars.
I am sadened to see this but I am sadened even more by the lack of sales. I feel so bad for this family that is putting the effort into this and receiving such a cold response. So for all you folks that want to spend a few hundred dollars in hopes of winning a $6000.00 bike get going you may buy as many as you like.

Help sell this out so the bike can be raffled off. Remember the raffle ends DEC 15th. Help this family out buy yours today.

I am definitely NOT someone that tells people how to spend their $$. But I agree with ya DBD...it is a shame that the response to this has not been better

I don't think it is so much not having the desire, as is the timing. Economy is slow...holidays are just around the corner...and the first raffle was not too long ago. I would love to be able to get 5 tickets, but there is just no way I can afford it right now. All I can do at present is to try and spread the word.

I'm in the same boat as a lot of others. I'm jsut flat broke right now and can barely afford to put gas in my truck and bike so that I can ride every weekend. Otherwise I would definitly buy a few tickets but at the present time the funds are just not available.

I sent Machster an email asking him to be a little more vocal and personalize the raffle a little. I think that this would help sell more tickets for sure. If you remember, Mike Berg had to do a little PR to get the momentum going for the GMB raffle as there were some skeptics out there. I also believe that if they could wait until after the holidays that they would be able to get them sold.

As a reminder, I am kicking in $100 towards the shipping of the bike to its new home if a ATM member buys the winning ticket through the Paypal link here on the site. Come on guys, get on board and pony up some tickets!!!!
