Default New project

For some reason, these things just keep showing up...

This particular specimen is an 89 KX500 that needs some love, but I think it has a lot of potential. Previous owner gave up on it because it lost spark and I picked it up for a great price. Really hoping to get this one and my 98 CR500 going and do some side-by-side comparisons with the two.

Any updates regarding your project? I'm currently working with mine and I think it still has a long way to go. I was able to change the fenders and also add protaper handlebar to try on the current build. I need to work on the tires but that would be for next week.

No real progress as of yet, I've been sidetracked with a number of other things including a full kitchen remodel. I had the broken mounts on the frame and pipe repaired, haven't really done much else to it.
