New Bike

I just got my crf-450r about 2 hours ago.Delivered. Couldn't get the black i originaly paid for but this red is beautiful. Hartley Honda here in wasilla,ak gave me a great price, on top of free stuff. Is it normal for a brand new engine to take alot of kicks to start? I think i'm used to my 1 kick,2 stroke cr-250r and may be flooding it. Waiting on that spring thaw. GIANTS by 4

if those are anything like the older yzf's they dont take alot of kicks, theres just a trick to them push the kick start all the way down then half way down and then kick it down slowly from half way and then kick the crap out of it. thats why i love my 2 smoker just kick it 1-2 times and it usually starts up...depending on how long its been sitting...then ive got a few secrets to get it started easy.

The salesman told me the whole state of alaska only got 2 and they both went to sponsored riders. Kinda sucks cause i started seeing them on e-bay 6 months ago for $7499.00 after i put 2 grand down to hold mine. I was going to turn the BLACK bike into a solid white bike anyway, then the radiator shrouds get the rising sun MUGEN racing decals. Will post photos soon.

yea the white would probably look better anyway
