It had been brought to our attention a few days ago that our "Contest Eligible" labels where a bit obsolete. So we came up with a new label system for everyone. The new post count and corresponding labels are as follows: Welcome To ATM (Minimum Posts: 0) Beginner Class (Minimum Posts: 50) Novice Class (Minimum Posts: 500) Intermediate Class (Minimum Posts: 1000) Pro Class (Minimum Posts: 2000) ATM Pro Class (Minimum Posts: 5000) We kinda thought this was pretty cool, and a good way to encourage posting. Now get out there and become a ATM pro.

Yes it is, but if you have a custom saying under your name it will overide the system.

I'm not really a big fan of the # of posts to earn your status. Some members rarely post yet their posts are very informative. Example: Ossage? That dude Andy, he doesn't waste everybody's time with "Which underwear should I buy?" threads or 4 strokes suck posts. There's people from all walks of life here on ATM. Some actually know what they're talking about. Some are more intellectual. Yes, some are even morons that know nothing about everything.

I like the idea of moving up in the ranks here on ATM. Although, I think this idea is only going to encourage the impressionable types to post even more garbage. If I see any more bumper sticker polls, or my 95 mph CR80 postings, I surely will be less inclined not only to post, but to read as well. You should be able to earn points for intelligent product reviews, or accurate technical information. I understand it might start out as a managerial nightmare, but it could push ATM into a whole new realm of getting info to the masses, along with opinions, crash reports, etc. You should get points for coherent postings, as well as correct spelling! It could be like what the magazines say they are....

I think we can add the Expert Class I like that. for some post counts matter, for others it doesn't. Who really cares if you do or don't. It's up to you to decide... either way we don't care as long as you're enjoying yourself. Most people use the custom titles anyway, so it's really a non-issue for most. Anyway, hope you like them.
