Default new ama rules having any effect?

I was wondering if the new ama rules (mainly regarding all 250s running together) is having any effect in MX. Are some folks riding smokers now? I was at a SETRA event recently and I saw that their rules have also apparently changed. I'm not a SETRA member, but I think they used to have 4 stroke classes, but now the rules seem to favor 2 strokes in that they are based on equal displacement.
