Default Need some help, please

I have a friend that was supposed to move to Houston in two weeks, I'm not sure if the storm is going to delay anything.

He was just in Hawaii visiting, I told him about the great people on this board, but I think he stays away from message boards (Even though I told him this one is different).

I think 3 Palms is the close to where he's moving, does anyone how it's doing after the storm hit?

The track recorder says they are currently closed due to the hurricane but gives no mention of the tracks condition.

Drew,

I just talked to a friend who drove past 3 Palms today. He says there are big rain ruts and the track needs a little work (probably an understatement). However, they're usually pretty good about getting things back in shape. I would give them a few days though, I would imagine they've all got homes to worry about as well. I believe the track is probably in an area that doesn't have any power right now anyway. Not that they need it to work on the track, but still, it does make life a little easier.

Drew, found this on another forum from the owner of 3P's:

Quote:
I'm hearing that we may have power by Friday, we will keep our fingers crossed. If we get the power restored, we will be able to use the showers and building. We will offer the mx commumity the chance to take a hot shower and the use of our kitchen as well. If you have a camper and need a place to stay for awhile, you can come out and camp for free. If you need an RV spot, it will be $15 per day for the next few weeks until everyone gets going. We will also clean the big building out and allow a few people to stay the night if you need to. There will not be any charge for it, we just want to be able to help out as much as we can.

We will also try to have the tracks up and running so we can open for the weekend. The main road to the back washed away but we will have it repaired by the weekend. Our prayers are with you guys and we hope everyone recovers from this giant mess.

Thanks, Emil
Also, check your PM's.
